This makes me miss my high school choir. :(

Time taken: Drawn on a train ride from Ostrava to Brno. 2 hours?
Subject:  Mal Cobb, Ariadne, Arthur, Dom Cobb
Warning: Deformed characters :D And it's missing Eames, because I couldn't remember how he looks other than his lips. Seriously. Tom Hardy's lips. Damn. :D

And this is just a warning flag before the Inception sketch dumps I'll start posting as soon as I get my sketches near some scanner. Because I'm drawing it like all the time. This was the only one I had with me. :/

Yeah. Be afraid. Be very very afraid.

None, original (My unnamed sci-fi world)

Time taken: No idea. Draw all these while in plane and in train. They're just sketches though so it wasn't more than 30 mins each.
Subject: Characters from a story I've been working on for years now. My playground, my safe place...it's full of mary sues and unexplained di ex machina. Who cares, it's fun.
Warning: Nekkid brests. Just breasts, nothing too erotic, but it's a little NSFW

Weeeee, saw Inception for the second time today. It's cool. :D I always liked the idea of lucid dreaming. Ever since I started reading P.K.Dick's books and short stories. And then I saw Waking Life. Which is a little more of a mindfuck than Inception was.

So what I'm trying to say is that you can expect influx of Inception fanart. Especially Cobb. Why doesn't the fandom like him? :/ I think that he and Arthur have the best relationship going.

Well, now on my original art:

Just finished rewatching first season of Battlestar Galactica. O baby, how I love this show.  I've nearly forgotten how much and how much I adore Starbuck. Seriously, she's the best.

I got myself a lovely new icon made by [livejournal.com profile] anivad . Isn't Katee Sackhoff just delicious?

Anyway I've been cleaning up stuff in my room and came across some (a lot) of old drawings. Here are some of them:

MISTŘIIIIIIIIIIII :D

Cool, I love our new hockey team. We beat Russia even after they disposed of our three best players. :D We're so better than Russia :D *wave of patriotism*

It's always symbolic when we play against Russia. Mom says it reminds her of the winter olympics in 68 when we beat the Soviets 5:4 - we didn't win the tittle though. But we beat the big bad brother. :D Helped a lot our national identity during the Prague spring 1968. :)

who cares about history now though? We woooon. :D We are the champions! :D

On the other hand I wish more americans were interested in good hockey. :D I can't seem to find and hockey community that isn't filled with NHL crap. Don't take me wrong, I like NHL...but the teams there are basically international. Lots of our guys play there, lots of Russians and Slovaks too. 's weird really. I'd just like to talk to fellow hockey fans about world championships and winter olympics...there's no place to do that... D:

So this year we get some interesting movies. It's not as rich as it was last year, but nonetheless it is interesting.

Alice in Wonderland (release date 5.3.2010)
Although I was never fan of any version of Alice in Wonderland I am looking forward to seeing this. It's Tim Burton and I haven't seen anything from his works that I didn't like. True, it's a little repetitive sometimes, but at least he's got Danny Elfman to write amazing music for him. (trailer here)

Clash of the Titans (release date 2.4.2010)
Now this - this will be EPIC. I loved the old movie, so I'm not hoping it will try to beat it. I haven't seen Avatar yet, or any of the movies where Sam Worthington had a big role so I'm not too sure about him as Perseus, but the rest of the cast? AWESOME. Liam Neeson as Zeus? Awesome. Ralph Fiennes as Hades? Awesome!  I just hope that Louis Leterrier (dir.) didn't try to make it action flick like The Transporter. But it probably will. Just look at the trailer.

Iron Man 2 (release date 7.5.2010)
This is a movie I'm waiting for ever since I saw the awesomeness that is the first Iron Man movie starring Robert Downey Jr. I don't have anything to add. I just hope it's as good as the first one! And we'll see Samuel L. Jackson as Nick Fury. Ain't that just a reason to see it? And if you're not convinced - watch the trailer! :D RD Jr. is just...cute :D

Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time
(release date 28.5.2010)
Okay, I'm not sure about this movie at all. Jake Gyllenhaal as Persian? Seriously? I mean - he sure does  look hot in the leather get up, but he's not middle-eastern at all. The trailer looks good, alright, but...But. Prince of Persia has been with us for decades and I'm aware that the first version of the Prince was white and Blonde, but...But. We'll see. Jake's hot.

Robin Hood (release date 14.5. 2010)
There is only one reason I'm going to watch this version of Robin Hood (because no version can beat Robin Hood: Prince of Thieves with Kevin Costner and Alan Rickman and Mel Brooks' Robin Hood: Men in Tights) and that is Rusell Crowe. That is enough. :D ♥

Toy Story 3 (release date 14.6.2010)
This should need no explanation. Who doesn't love Buzz and Woody raise hand now (so I can shoot you)! Just look at 'em.

The Chronicles of Narnia: The Voyage of Dawn Threader. (release date 8.12.2010)

There has been no official trailer yet, but I'm still looking forward to this movie - if only for the music (and Ben Barnes, but shhh). True, there won't be Peter and Susan Pevensie anymore...they weren't my favorite characters anyway. I'm just looking forward to seeing more of Edmund. :D He's sweet. ♥

Only seven movies I'm actually looking forward to seeing this year? Shaaaaaaaaame. Well, whatever. :D At least it's better than 2006.

1. Cambridge exams: I did it! Ha! I did it! In november I did FCEs and I just got results. A. Great. :D I'm awesome. All of my classmates failed though, so I feel bad for feeling good.

2. I've decided to try to apply for English/Japanese and English/History. Dunno how it works out though. I'd love to study Japanese, but it's farther away from home and my money situtation is pretty bad at the moment.

3. My sister just gave to me two Gnomon Workshop DVDs. They're amazing. First one is Color theory: The mechanics of Color and the second one is Practical Light and Color. Both explain in four hours total what my art teacher took like twelve weeks to do so.

4. I did an animation for my IT class and I like it. It's not finished yet, but it already has around 60 frames. It would have like 200 if I finished it. :D
